Club Annual Trip Away
30th May 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 2nd June 2023 @ 11:00 pm
We now have eleven cars and twenty-one people booked on the trip.
Summary of the arrangements as follows:-
Tuesday.
Arrive Tuesday 30th May in time for dinner at the hotel. The hotel have promised dedicated parking for MGs.
Wednesday
We will have a scenic drive around the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Lunch will be a buffet at the Royal Oak “Splash” Pub.
After lunch we will visit Cadwell Park Circuit. Here you can spectate the motorbike track day and then during their lunch we will have an MG parade around the circuit.
Another drive in the afternoon with tea and plum bread at a Water Mill.
Dinner at the hotel in a private room.
Thursday
We will visit the Aviation Heritage Centre. Here we should have dedicated parking to get good pictures. There is a very good museum, and the Lancaster will be demonstrating taxy at 11.00.
Lunch will be either at the centre cafe or at the next venue.
The last visit is to the Micro car museum. A great collection of bubble cars which is usually only open at weekends but will open for us that afternoon.
